Meet Dick Moritz

Dick Moritz
Principal Oceanographer and Department Chair, University of Washington Polar Science Center

Dr. Moritz’s primary areas of expertise are the physics of climate, and the interactions among ocean, sea-ice and atmosphere. He will be analyzing data collected by the upward-looking sonar on the bottom-mounted mooring.
