Tim Stanton
Associate Research Professor, Naval Postgraduate School

Dr. Stanton developed the Autonomous Ocean Flux buoy, which collects data on vertical momentum, heat, and salt fluxes in the upper ocean mixed layer. The primary scientific motivation is to use them in conjunction with other autonomous, ocean, ice, and atmospheric observation systems to provide a means of studying changes in the Central Arctic Basin environment over long periods.
